Dr Marisa Venter performs anaesthesia in several hospitals across the East Rand: Netcare Linmed Hospital, Arwyp Medical Centre, Life The Glynnwood, Springs Parkland and Life Roseacres. Additionally, she works at Advanced Health East Rand, Birchmed and Surgiklin day hospitals.
Dr Venter most frequently performs orthopaedic, gynaecological and paediatric dental anaesthesia. She also works in several ICU settings, placing ultrasound-guided invasive lines where required.
Dr Marisa Venter earned her Diploma in Anaesthesia in 2015 as well as her Diploma in Emergency Medicine in 2019. She is Level 1 Ultrasound accredited and has up to date Advanced Cardiac Life Support (EP), Advanced Trauma Life Support and Advanced Paediatric Life Support certificates.
Dr Venter holds full independent registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (MP0723410) and is an Associate Member of the South African Society of Anaesthesiologists (MN 3323).
